Hi everyone! With the holidays coming under the cloud of Covid, I am hoping that everyone chooses to wear a mask and limit contact with others, while trying to celebrate the holidays.

One option for fun as the temperature drops, is the Edmond Ice Rink open daily from 3-9 pm at Mitch Park. Tomorrow night, the City of Edmond Luminance Light Display starts up through early January 2021.

In Downtown Edmond, Citizen’s Bank of Edmond started a new retail incubator named RISE, that gives applicants the downtown retail brick and mortar experience, and Cargo Room and Doggy D’s are now open between The Mule and Citizen’s Bank of Edmond’s community lobby on Broadway! Masks are required to check it out!

You guys really came through for small business Millie’s Table and Catering, as she hit her maximum threshold for Thanksgiving meals this year, and a blessing indeed for Millie Shore’s! You all really rocked that one!

Emory Anne Interiors is now offering pre made Christmas Boxes starting at $65, that you can also personalize to have Anne and staff prepare, wrap and ship out for you! Call the shop at 405-753-4466 to order or for more information.

Hi! I am Sherri Hultner and I am the founder of EdmondActive. I started EdmondActive July 13, 2009 on Facebook as a way to bring all information about all of Edmond into one place, then started Around Edmond blog here at the site July 24, 2009 as a way of starting the conversation as to what is happening around our town. I have been a publisher of local zines, a glossy 80 page magazine distributed at a extremely high sell through on national newsstands of over 30% and EdmondActive Magazine for the last 23 years! I have been married for 31 years, have adult sons whom I am very proud of and have been a dog mom to 4 labs, 1 shepard lab, and a golden retriever.  EdmondActive print magazine was first published in November 2009 as a way to bring social media information into the outside world and is secondary to our social networks of over 35,000 residents in Edmond and OKC. The magazine starts its 13th volume in 2021, and I am grateful to have a great readership after all of these years.
