Hi everyone! Hoping all of you had a great first week back to school and are getting your schedule dialed in. This week started off with …. an inland hurricane?! I was super scared of what could’ve happened Monday night but then Mike Morgan at KFOR dropped this new term out there and made me finally laugh… So sorry for all of you who lost and still don’t have power, been there and done that, and it’s no fun.
A couple of notes, Citizen’s Bank of Edmond will be closed Monday for Labor Day, and Botanical Bar has changed their Saturday hours to 10-2 pm! Also, Edmond Wine Shop’s Vodka sale ends Saturday as well as their Sauvignon Blanc Sale.
Also, mark your calendar’s as The Body Barre at Danforth & Santa Fe is holding trainer certification training in October! Check out our Instagram page for more information.
And, Botanical Bar has set the date for their Fall Floral Arrangement Class on September 12, 2019! Be sure to register ahead of time!
Ever since 2013, I have wanted to create a city guide for local residents, whether affluent or not, and whether new residents or long time Edmonites. We have all kinds of “Best of” lists around the metro, but none that appear to be based on community input but rather sales tools.
Click here to nominate your favorite businesses in and around Edmond, so that we can populate the EA City Guide with your choices, and then come back to vote for your favorites from October 19, 2019 to December 31, 2019!

You’ll be able to enjoy not only Eddies famous chicken wings but numerous signature cocktails starting at 4 pm tomorrow! Located at 1st just west of Broadway. Kudos to Kellie of ModernWhimsy for the amazing interior design work.
Edmond Railyard Outdoor Mural Complete
The new mural is up at the Edmond Railyard, by Kris Kanaly and Dylan Bradway and has made a drab wall under the newly renovated patio area come to life in a colorful display of all that makes Edmond unique. I loved the photos shared with us taken by Downtown Edmond’s Small Architects! This space will be a wonderful place for our community to gather! The Edmond Railyard is being developed by another Downtown Edmond business, The Grant Group. You can check out the mural on 1st Street, just west of Broadway in the old lumberyard space.
