Hi everyone! Can you believe football season is here?! Tonight Edmond Santa Fe faced Tulsa Washington at the Edmond Santa Fe stadium and the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs played the Ponca City Wildcats in Ponca. Congrats to the Bulldogs for taking the win over Ponca 28-7 and Santa Fe fought hard against Tulsa but Tulsa took the win 35-21. Every year we always share football updates at Twitter or Facebook, so be sure to follow if you can’t make the games!

Tomorrow morning the fall schedule for the Edmond Farmer’s Market is in full swing. Be sure to stop by from 8 am to 1 pm in Downtown Edmond west of Broadway on 1st in the Festival Marketplace to pick up some locally sourced plants, flowers, veggies and more!

Edmond Shines is coming and wants your video auditions!

Get excited everyone, as there is a new talent show coming in October benefiting Edmond Family Counseling called Edmond Shines!

Edmond Shines is a city wide event showcasing the talent in the Edmond community. The goal is to bring together all ages, individuals and groups to compete for top honors. There will be 3 finalists in each of the 4 age categories. Come show us how you shine!

Head to EdmondShines.EdmondFamily.org to submit your audition. Submissions are due by September 29nd, 2017 at 5pm.

Food trucks will be available at 1pm — so come hungry! Proceeds to benefit the mission of Edmond Family Counseling.

They are looking for participants of all ages and skills and are now taking audition videos! This will be an annual event, open to anyone 5 years of age or older, and all participants must live and/or work in the Edmond area or take lessons or participate in an organization located in Edmond! October 5, 2017 is the finalist meeting with the event happening on October 29th at 2 pm at Edmond North High School.

While you are out this weekend, be sure to stop in to your favorite local business and spend some money there before you hit the big box stores!
