Brownies won’t want to miss this chance to work with SMO educators toward the Bugs badge at SMO’s Saturday Scouts Badge Class on April 28.

Scouts will go on a bug hunting adventure with a bug expert, observe insects in their natural habitat, create crafts that explain the anatomy of insects and their homes in the pursuit of the Bugs badge.

>> Cost and Registration: Classes are $15 per Scout. Classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required to hold your Scout’s space. Register online at http://www.sciencemuseumok.org/scouts or over the phone at (405) 602-3760.

>> Parents, Guardians, and Troop Leaders: A parent, guardian, or troop leader responsible for each Scout must remain at SMO for the duration of a badge class. One guardian is required for every six Scouts. Adults attending a badge class with a Scout will not be charged general admission to attend the class.

>> Badges: SMO museum educators strive to meet as many badge requirements as possible during the allotted class time. Copies of Blue Cards or certificates with the covered requirements will be distributed to each student.

Scout Badge Classes are exclusively for Scouts and their families. Guests may register individually or get a group together to join in the fun!
