Despite the cold weather, the 10th season kicked off with great food, shopping and music

Citizens Bank of Edmond’s Heard on Hurd returned to downtown Edmond last weekend to kick off its 10th season. The weather was chilly, but the support for this community event was steadfast!

“I am very proud of our community’s support of local businesses and musical talent,” said Jill Castilla, president and CEO of Citizens Bank of Edmond. “The weather may have been cold, but it is heartwarming to see neighbors enjoying Heard on Hurd month after month and season after season.”

Attendees of Heard on Hurd enjoyed the soulful vocals of Elizabeth Speegle, the soothing melodies of Stephen Salewon and heartfelt rock sound of Jason Scott & The High Heat. They enjoyed the local food and shopping of 60 food and retail vendors. And also making a special appearance at Heard on Hurd was Mirabel and Isabela Madrigal from Disney’s Encanto

The next Heard on Hurd will take place on Saturday, April 15 from 6-10 p.m. The musical lineup and vendors will be announced closer to date on the Heard on Hurd social media pages.
