Hi everyone and welcome back. Libertyfest events for the weekend start this evening at Carl Benne Arena at 8 pm with the first round of the Libertyfest Rodeo starting despite rainy weather today. It’s $10 at the gate on Kelly.

Tomorrow morning starting at 8 am through 1 pm you can find the Carshow and Parkfest with free watermelon happening at Hafer Park, and this is always a fun event with some really cool vintage vehicles. I am partial to it as my dad was a car enthusiast who renovated 1966 Mustang Cobras and GT’s as well as 1965/66 Thunderbirds!

After a rainy start to our weekend, here’s to a fun dry weekend full of fun events to celebrate up to our Fourth of July celebrations on the 4th! There is one more Libertyfest event at UCO with the Concert in the Park on June 29th, which is always so enjoyable and really gets you into a patriotic frame of mind leading up to the 4th.

Get excited for our parade in Downtown Edmond July 4th, especially if you are new, it’s something to behold! Here is a look at the 2022 parade:

Have a great weekend, and be sure to stop by Saturday for a new ShopEdmond, and then Sunday for a new blog to see what’s happening around Edmond!
