Amplify: OU Announces Return of Tailgating and Other Game Day Activities for 2021 Football Season
NORMAN, OKLA. – The University of Oklahoma has announced the full return of tailgating and other game day celebrations for the 2021 football season.
The designated areas of campus for public and reserved tailgating will largely reflect those of the 2019 season. OU fans will again be permitted to set up tailgate equipment beginning at noon on the day prior to scheduled football games.

Other game day events and gatherings that are returning this year include:

· Varsity O Tailgate*

Game day events and traditions that continue for the 2021 season include the Allstate Party at the Palace, college events and gatherings*, Duck Pond RV Parking and SooneRVillage at Lloyd Noble Center.

Game Day Traffic, Road Closures and Parking
To promote efficient traffic flow and pedestrian safety, certain roads near campus are closed or restricted on game days. Public parking on campus is limited on game days but is available in certain parking lots for $30 – cash and cards are accepted. Anyone riding the game day shuttle to and from Lloyd Noble Center is required to wear a mask, in compliance with federal Department of Transportation mandates. COVID-19 Protocols
The University of Oklahoma strongly encourages masking indoors, particularly in high-density settings, such as classrooms and at special events.
