ShopEdmond: Black Friday and Small Business Saturday 2019

Loading

Hi everyone! Welcome to EdmondActive Magazine’s 11th Annual ShopEdmond Guide to Black Friday and Small Business Saturday!

Most of you have already been shopping for the holidays, as the date this Thanksgiving lands on this year brings us to Christmas and Hanukkah a little more rapidly than most years.

Downtown Edmond has seen changes in their local retailer spaces, with Fashion Boutique, Head Over Heels, Gather and Pink Petal Boutique leaving the area (Pink Petal Boutique went to an online sales only format), and as of three weeks ago, McCall’s closed their doors.

This leaves open a wide berth for new concepts to enter into the Downtown Edmond area adding to the remaining retailers Sterling’s, Broadway Antiques, Edmond Antiques, Native Summit, Lulu and Los, Mainstream Boutique. It will be interesting to see how this develops over the next year, and if it creates the experience all of us crave from the area, in combination with the new Mule, Frenzy Brewery, and rock climbing studio, and The Railyard and Railspur district additions.

The remainder of Edmond is also seeing rapid retail changes that I can’t wait to get into at the start of the new year, but for now, here is what is happening with locally owned businesses on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday in Edmond!
