What a perfect event this year’s Downtown Edmond Arts Festival has been, with fantastic attendance despite the in and out wet weather we experienced.

Promoter DEBA could not have asked for better temperatures! This year’s event was not only well attended, but well run, with new artists to tip the number to 157 artists in all. The kid’s area was full of fun with a life-sized chess board, art projects with Risa of Oops I Arted, caricature art, balloon art and face painting.

This year’s top rated artist’s were determined Saturday afternoon, and here are the results:

If you are new to the area, the event is held every year, the first weekend of May, on Broadway from 2nd Street to Campbell in Downtown Edmond. The last day of this year’s event is tomorrow, Sunday May 5, 2024, from 11 am to 5 pm, and the weather looks to be spectacular. There will be food trucks, music and entertainment along with local boutiques and restaurants to stroll through to make a perfect Sunday outing for the entire family.
