Myriad Botanical Gardens’ annual Oklahoma Gardening School, presented by Devon Energy & Meinders Foundation, is the state’s premier annual horticultural symposium designed for home gardeners and professional horticulturists, garden designers and landscape architects. “Designs to Nurture Nature and Ourselves” is the theme for the event on Saturday, March 10, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Devon Energy auditorium.

Whatever land we may have, from a city balcony to a suburban backyard to a ranch, we have a gift and responsibility to make the world more beautiful and healthy through our efforts. The results provide a healthier, more beautiful and healing life for ourselves, wildlife, nature and future generations. Speakers will inspire us as they demonstrate how to design a landscape that nurtures our souls through beauty and relaxation. We will learn how to create spaces that are caring and thoughtfully planned so they serve as wildlife habitats and strengthen the ecological health of our communities.
