Edmond Historical Ghost Tours

$10 – $12The Edmond Historic Preservation Trust is hosting Ghost Tours on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 7 – 9 p.m. at the 1889 Territorial Schoolhouse, 124 E 2nd Street. Guests will enter the historic one-room schoolhouse and be welcomed by a tour guide. Groups of ten will meet different ghosts and hear documented stories from seven of Edmond’s historical figures.
Edmond Ghosts include:
Jenny Forster-who raised money for the first school in Edmond
Bonnie Terry-a school marm in Early Edmond
Richard Thatcher-first teacher and president of the state normal school
Elma Childers-Land Run Homesteader
William Sulcer-headmaster of Edmond’s Separate School,
Carrie Nation-self-appointed prohibitionist against saloons
Russell Dougherty-First Edmond High School graduate killed in WWII.
In addition to ghost tours, enjoy “Fireside Stories” about Edmond’s Illegal cemetery and more historic tales while eating smores over fire pits for $2 each.
