Original Flow, NoiseBleedSound, and Grant Adams Set to Take the Stage.

Edmond, Okla. (June 16, 2018) – Citizens Bank of Edmond’s Heard on Hurd will be bringing “Fun in the Sun” to Downtown Edmond on Saturday, June 16 from 6pm – 10pm to celebrate the upcoming official arrival of Summer.

“It’s great to see new and familiar faces support our little bank party every single month,” said Heard on Hurd creator and CEO of Citizens Bank of Edmond, Jill Castilla. “Our goal is to bring the community together to support all things local and to put that energy back into downtown Edmond. There is no better time to celebrate community than a warm summer evening.”

You can satisfy all your food cravings with the wide variety of vendor’s who will be present including Big O’s Pork and Dreams, Fat Sosa’s, C’est Ce Bon, Jamaican Thunder, Dough MG, The Hall’s Pizza Kitchen, Metro Mini’s, Rockin’ Rotolo, Buddy’s Place, Turkish Delight, The Chosen Juan, Mighty Corn Dog, Filipino Fusion, Phill Me Up Cheesesteaks, Babalu’s, Healthy Eats and Shameful Cheats, The Sugar Shack, and so many more.

This month’s Heard on Hurd will welcome three unique musical talents to the stage. The first, Original Flow, is an Oklahoma based, experimental hip hop group created to perpetuate your love for music. Coming from different walks of life, each member adds an interesting recipe for originality, developing vibrant rhythms and poetic delivery. Next to take the stage, NoiseBleedSound, is a five piece group from Oklahoma City who’s explosive combo of energy and sound strive to give an experience modern-age a new fresh sound with roots in classic Rock N’ Roll. The headliner, Grant Adams, is regarded by many as one of Oklahoma’s most promising young songwriters. He set his musical career in motion with his 2016 release, Beginnings. Influenced by fellow Oklahoman Ben Rector and musical icon John Mayer, Grant combines his love of great songwriting with an amazing, high energy live performance.

The Kid’s Area this month, located in the bank’s drive through, will once again feature The OU Medical Centers inflatable walk through MegaHeart, as well as characters from Project Princess, and a comfort station for new moms and families with young ones, provided by Rhea Lana’s of Edmond.
There will also be street performances at the intersection of Broadway and Main by the Edmond North Drumline. Princesses from Project Princess can also be found in the bank’s main lobby at 1 E. 1st Street.

This month’s featured non-profit is Arise Ministries. Arise Ministries is a non-profit organization that empowers single moms to create healthy homes by providing educational and supportive resources in a variety of outlets. Hosting the only regional single mothers’ conference in America, Arise Ministries will be promoting their annual conference THRIVE Gathering, which will take place as Crossing Community Church on June 23.
