Hi everyone, and welcome back to another Around Edmond! For some of you, it’s a lake weekend, and for some of you, it’s time to do back to school shopping during tax free weekend. For those of you who are new to the state, this weekend Friday to Sunday, all clothes and shoe purchases under $100 are tax free!!!

Millie’s Table is ready to get the fall and school year started and is resuming normal business hours starting Monday August 5th!
Project 66 is having their annual school supply giveaway from 10 am to 12 pm at First Christian Church sponsored by the City of Edmond this Saturday August 3rd! The first 1000 kids and parent receive a backpack full of supplies and more! Check out the flier for more information!
Saturday will be full of fun, with the Edmond Farmer’s Market from 8am to 1pm, and then with Edmond Music holding a mini festival with bands, food trucks and more to celebrate it’s 50th year in business! By all means make it over to Broadway just south of 33rd Street between 12 and 9 pm, and wish them well, hang out and grab a bite to eat!
