Around Edmond: Wednesday Farmer’s Market at Mitch Park. Heard on Hurd hosts SimplyIndie Film Fest Saturday.
Hi everyone! As our September issue is at the printer, I am in production of the October issue, creating all kinds of lists and spreadsheets from nominations made for our 1st ever Community Favorites contest going on, and setting up upcoming projects and photoshoots.
Check out the September digital edition here: EdmondActive Sept. 2019 Vol. 11
You can stop by Mitch Park today until 1 pm to pick up some fresh okra and more from the farmers set up for Wednesday Farmer’s Market, and then don’t forget to head down to Downtown Edmond Saturday morning for a full market experience from 8 to 1 pm. If you are new to Edmond, the market season is almost over, but can be found now on 1st St. just west of Broadway. Also, as the outdoor market season winds up, you can always find fresh farm to market produce at Urban Argrarian a little further north on Broadway.
This week marks the Fall Parade of Homes and we are so excited for the winners in their respective categories, and all of the stagers and designers/decorators who helped pull everything together for the builders.
Anne McCarthy, owner of EmoryAnne Interiors and Botanical Bar, has worked with McCaleb Homes for the past few years, and always finishes their homes spectacularly for the Parade events. Take a look at the awards McCaleb Homes earned this year:
