Hi everyone! Hoping this reaches all of you doing well! This week, I’ve had a swell of business listings coming in as well as graduate salutes, and that I am going to have to our printer for the May/June Issue by mid May.

With this year almost half way done, Mother’s Day is upon us this Sunday, with lovely weather in the forecast both days this weekend. You can get out and spend some time at parks and trails this weekend while social distancing continues here in Edmond, and in OKC, at Scissortail Park, the paddle boats just opened today, although all playgrounds and the dog parks are still closed.

Restaurants are hit and miss with who’s dining rooms are open at 50% capacity and who is continuing to serve take out curbside. Check online with your favorite.

If bbq is in your plans, definitely check with Urban Argrarian at Main and Broadway in Downtown Edmond for some amazing local meats, and check in with The Meat House on Danforth and Santa Fe for fresh selections raised locally as well.

Emory Anne Interiors is offering free gift wrap, and with an appointment, you’ll be able to shop for Mother’s Day from a great selection of personal care items, jewelry, pjs, decor, cooking implements, art and more to choose from. Cultured Cloths is a new clothing, accessory and gift boutique located on Covell just west of I35, by the new Starbucks. They are open Saturday for shopping in store! Really cute selection, and great pricing!

If you are looking for gardening items, and are worried about huge crowds, try the Home Depot on Penn. Social distancing was being followed, and an amazing selection of unique plants and flowers this year!
