Hi everyone, hoping you are all doing well, after last weekend’s graduations and after school let out yesterday for the Summer! It is looking like 3 of 4 agreements between the City and the Park Trust are agreed upon with an agreement over the operation of the Sculpture Park and Edmond Fine Arts performance center and studio to remain in limbo as of Wednesday per former Citycouncilman Josh Moore. Tuesday the City Council will vote on the agreements with a deadline looming to agree upon operations of the park and its facilities of June 10, 2024. This meeting happens at City Hall at 5:30 pm Tuesday May 28 if you’d like to voice your support to the Council directly. Hoping for a positive result here, to really give rise to a General Bond the City is seeking support for in November, to make doing so make sense, with collections from sales tax only not being practical on its own.

If you choose to stay in Edmond for this long weekend, there are plenty of choices of things to do. Roxy’s Ice Cream has opened in the Edmond Railyard, the Barnett Splashpad has already opened,

and there are some really great movies playing at ICON Cinema’s on Danforth Rd.
