Hi everyone! Hoping all of you are doing great, what with summer winding down for school aged kids. This is the weekend that everyone slows down to enjoy time at home/the lake or wherever you may spend your last precious days of summer with friends or family.

If you are staying in Edmond this weekend, please do stop by the Edmond Farmer’s Market in Festival Marketplace in Downtown Edmond from 8 am to 1 pm, west of Broadway on 1st Street. There should be a full vendor list attending, complete with fresh flower bundles to brighten up your home. Also, there is another location to find fresh floral bundles at Mira Bird on Bryant just south of 33rd Street in Cheyenne Crossing center where Ooops I Arted is located!

Heard on Hurd Smashes Attendance Record in July! Beautiful weather paired with top musical acts, great food and shopping made for a highly successful night and record attendance for 10th Season

Citizens Bank of Edmond hosted Heard on Hurd in downtown Edmond last weekend with record attendance in event history. Heard on Hurd has been a mainstay event in downtown Edmond and is celebrating its 10th season this year.

“I don’t think we could have asked for a more successful event. The weather was beautiful and the music lineup included some of our all-time Heard on Hurd favorites, plus of course Darci Lynne was amazing,” said Jill Castilla, President and CEO of Citizens Bank of Edmond. “I am so grateful of our community’s support of Oklahoma music and local businesses.”

Chloe Beth and her trio kicked off the evening with a passionate performance of her original songs. Kids and families danced and sang along to the fun, high-energy show put on by Sugar Free Allstars. Darci Lynne lit up the night with her amazing vocals and stage presence while performing some great music to close out the night. Fans of Darci Lynne’s drove from all over the metro area, including one family that drove more than 7 hours to see her perform.

“I had an amazing experience being a part of Heard on Hurd’s tenth season,” said Darci Lynne. “Thanks to fans who drove from near and far to support me and thanks to Heard on Hurd and Citizens Bank of Edmond for having me!”

Attendees enjoyed the local food and shopping of 60 food and retail vendors. Also making a special appearance at Heard on Hurd was Santa himself as well as Mermaids.

The next Heard on Hurd will take place on Saturday, August 19 from 6-10 p.m. The musical lineup and vendors will be announced soon on the Heard on Hurd social media pages.
