The 11th season to feature food trucks, pop-up shopping and live music
Citizens Bank of Edmond‘s Heard on Hurd will return to downtown Edmond on Saturday, September 21. The monthly food truck event and concert series will be on Broadway between 1st and Hurd. Attendees will enjoy original Oklahoma music as well as a variety of food trucks and pop-up shops from 6-10pm.
The “Dancing in September” festivities will include dancing by some of the Edmond Chamber’s Dancing with the Stars contestants, Dance Makers will amaze us with their professional dance skills, an LED performing artist will dazzle us on stilts, and Groovemeant will be dancing to the beat in front of the stage in between band performances. It’s a night that’s sure to get you moving and grooving!
And when you’re not busy showing off your dance moves, you can take in all the amazing vocal artists. Local musicians taking the Heard on Hurd stage this month will be Grayson Hamm at 6pm, Ross Clayton at 7:20pm, and Graham Colton at 8:40pm. Ross Clayton from McLoud, Oklahoma performed the song “Blue Ain’t Your Color by Keith Urban in his blind audition on Season 23 of The Voice. His performance earned him a four-chair turn. Graham Colton is a nationally renowned recording artist from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The singer-songwriter has had a chart-topping major label career, sharing stages with some of the biggest artists including John Mayer, Kelly Clarson, Counting Crows, John Mellencamp, and many more. Don’t miss this lineup of top local talent!
