Citizens Bank of Edmond is proud to announce that its President and CEO, Jill Castilla, has been recognized by American Banker as one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking. This is the eleventh consecutive year that Jill has received this recognition, and she stands as the sole representative from the community banking sector on this list.
“While my name is on the list, this is a team award for Citizens Bank of Edmond. Our small but mighty bank makes a difference here locally and nationally, and this achievement reflects the strength of our team, the purpose behind our mission, and our dedication to making a meaningful, long-term difference in our community,” said Jill Castilla. “I’m honored to represent not only Citizens Bank of Edmond, ROGER Bank, and Oklahoma, but also our 4,000+ community bank family across the nation. I will continue telling the community banking story of strength, resiliency, innovation, and relevancy.”
Now in its 22nd year, American Banker’s The Most Powerful Women in BankingTM initiative recognizes individuals and teams for demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, strong business performance, and a commitment to driving real outcomes for diversity, equity, and inclusion in financial services.
The honorees will be recognized at The Most Powerful Women in Banking Gala, which takes place October 24, 2024, at The Glasshouse in New York City.
