Event to feature Audio Book Club, Channel 13 and Ckai Dawson on the main stage

Citizens Bank of Edmond’s Heard on Hurd will return to downtown Edmond on Saturday, April 15. The street festival will be at the corner of Broadway and Hurd. Attendees will enjoy live, local music and a variety of food trucks and pop-up shops from 6-10 p.m.

It’s always great to see new and familiar faces at Heard on Hurd each month,” said Jill Castilla, president and CEO of Citizens Bank of Edmond. “Our little bank street party has grown in such incredible ways and it’s awesome to see our community show up and support local business and to in turn see those businesses grow, thrive and expand. This support is exactly why we started Heard on Hurd 10 seasons ago!”

Taking the Heard on Hurd stage this month will be:

  • Ckai Dawson at 6:00PM, featuring jazz, R&B, gospel and rock that expands to present day pop;
  • Channel 13 at 7:20PM, the Oklahoma City-based group’s sound is somewhere between ‘80s soft rock and indie-pop; and
  • Audio Book Club at 8:40PM, a five-piece group that is full of energy and 80s nostalgia mixed with modern rock music.

The featured nonprofit of Heard on Hurd this season is the Edmond Public Schools Foundation. They will be set up near the Heard on Hurd stage with information on their organization and opportunities to support and get involved.

The bank’s Community Lobby will feature kids activities including photos with Black Widow and Iron Man and balloon art.
