Hi everyone! Hoping all of you are doing well. This week is the last week before Spring Break.

Luckily, if you are staycationing, there are some fun events happening around the metro. You can check the events calendar here for more.

First, Saturday March 17th will kick off the 1st round of Heard on Hurd in Downtown Edmond from 6-10 pm! You’ll find some of your favorite food trucks, shopping in the newly named pop up area The Tradepost, off of Broadway on Hurd St. Where the Pop Ups were is now the newly opened Vault 405 co working space, which is

coinciding with the Heard on Hurd season opener, Vault 405 will also be hosting an open house for all to visit and take a tour. Check out Trevor Hultner’s feature coming soon in our new issue about to print online here!

Each Friday, on behalf of Heard on Hurd, Citizen’s Bank of Edmond’s Vault 405 will be featuring each Food Truck with a Q&A called Keep it Truckin’, and will ask them to speak on how they started their business and what inspired them to open their specific food truck. Follow Vault 405 here and check in this Friday to hear all about Metro Mini’s!

Also, this year, you’ll be able to get a weekly review of the food trucks from Greg Elwell of the blog I Ate Oklahoma, out of OKC, sponsored by Citizen’s Bank of Edmond. I’ve been following and reading Greg for year’s and highly recommend this blog for metro food reviews. He is funny, thoughtful and a fantastic writer!

Ok-Yaki is making their debut in the little shack behind The Patriarch, in North Downtown Edmond on Edwards St. on Saturday, owned and operated by Chef Jonathan Stranger! Here is a preview of their menu, and I know I’m really excited to try it out!

Thanks for reading, stop by Sunday for another look at what’s happening around Edmond!
