The True CW performing Saturday night at Heard on Hurd

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a nice weekend! Heard on Hurd had its second event of their abbreviated 2021 season, and of course, as with its history came a summer thunderstorm. Prior to the storm it was 102 heat index and looked to be a very warm event, but thanks to mother nature, after the storm, it was just delightful with the rain stopping just in time to welcome the

entertaining and involving the littles in the crowd.

Loved seeing the community stop for a moment to check out the vendors at Hurd & Broadway, with crowds as always at 405 Mobile Boutique, and new vendor’s sharing their products and services with residents, as well as stopping for information on the upcoming Simply Indie Filmfest coming to Edmond in February 2022.

Our community loves this event as a time to wind down, visit Downtown Edmond and all of the retailers, shops and restaurants who remain open for the event, along with our City’s only brewery, together with the pop ups and food trucks that visit just for the event.

Residents are encouraged to bring their kids out to enjoy snow cones and face painting as well as their furry kids! It’s an amazing event for new residents to be able get out and get a true feel of our wonderful community.
